Massachusetts Tidal Wave Foretells of Impending National Tsunami.

Scott Browns remarkable victory as the new Republican Senator for the state of Massachusetts can only be described as one of Tidal Wave proportion. The giant washout of  Democrat machine politics, long embedded in the fabric of this commonwealth, has been stunning.

But four weeks ago Scott Brown was little known outside of the state, and largely ignored by the national leadership of the democrat party. Well, like a tidal wave largely unseen as it travels beneath the ocean, this huge surge of support went very much unnoticed by all in the liberal elite, both in the state and nationally. Then as election day approached, the reality of the magnitude of Browns momentum hit home just as surely as the Tidal Wave shows itself as it runs up and over all in its path.

From a ripple to immense and towering, its course very much unstoppable, and all in but a matter of moments. Well in this recent election the moments were but days and the wave not only refused to be altered but gained in mass and velocity to the point of  being cataclysmic once it had run its course

Today the remnants of what was once a seemingly invincible political organization are strewn about in the shock of the aftermath. Finger pointing, accusations flying, labels of incompetence thrown back and forth between the state leadership and the White House, and all the while the true nature of the beast that slayed them unrecognized.

From White House lips the never ending mantra of “just not getting our message heard” or “needing to do a better job of getting our message out there” while all the time the public has been indicating that the message has been heard and LOUD AND CLEAR.

Yes, it has been heard… and understood, and in no small way rejected, rejected and rejected again. One would think this would be clear to Washington but it is not, has not, and will not because the voice of the citizen is just so much noise to our currently elected officials and to the many that preceded them.

Noise they have chosen to drown out with their own proclamations. Well “drown out” is a fitting way to describe the abrupt end to their rule.

What must also be noted, and it is unclear that they have, is that this tidal wave is but the first pulse of what will be more than a recurrence. Like all the great Tsunami’s of our human experience, it is the giant waves that follow the first or second that render the most significant devastation. I would suggest that New Jersey was the first that washed ashore and Massachusetts the second… and yes, of a greater magnitude by every measure.

So too all Democrat and Republican politician alike that have forsaken their oath in pursuit of personal or misplaced ideological gain, better head for high ground lest you be caught up in the Tsunami that approaches. It is a monster of historical measure and like the behemoth icebergs of the great north, all but a tiny portion is visible until it is far too late and it has crashed upon you.

I say take no time running for high ground as if we the people will consider that you have had a revelation and you now understand our wants and needs. You were trusted once already and you had your chance, do not bother to cover your ass now. I am so angry with this socialist movement that I will make every available attempt to be certain you are removed from office, and I will follow your careers in the private sector and openly boycott any enterprise you join. And this is not just for Democrats, Joseph Cao. This is for all who have even considered much less supported bailouts, stimulus, cash for clunkers, public run healthcare, amnesty for illegals and infringement on the second amendment.

New Jersey and Massachusetts are not mere warning shots over the proverbial bow, but closer to the “Shot Heard Round The World” in Emerson’s Concord Hymn. We, the middle class, are the embattled farmers this time, and we are making our stand.

The time has come. I understand my place in society and gladly share in the burdens for infrastructure, education, and charity. But know all of you now that I do not wish to take part in a government that unjustly takes from one man only to give to another that which he can freely gain on his own, nor support him in debts that he foolishly incurred beyond his means.

    Bill C.

“But, to speak practically and as a citizen, unlike those who call themselves no government men, I ask for, not at once no government, but at once a better government. Let every man make known what kind of government would command his respect, and that will be one step towards obtaining it.” Henry David Thoreau 1849
