As political pundits debate the left and right of our upcoming midterm election I am reminded of an old adage, ‘Those that rely on crystal balls are destined to eat glass’… usually of the very crunchy variety.  That is why I rarely… succumb to the chatter of these talking heads and rely on my own observations of the world around me and the sense I derive from the commentary of those whose words are calmly conveyed and out of the limelight. Average folk with real concerns, those that represent the backbone of our economic engine. Hard working Americans who desire nothing more than to be largely left alone by their government, to be treated as adults capable of making intelligent decisions in their own best interest, and whose elected representatives will heed their concerns. One thing seems clear to all and that is that the progressive liberal democrat machine that has been working hard to enslave us all under the guise of “They know best, whats best for us” has been rejected by those of sound mind and that is the vast majority of the legally eligible voter. Yes, it is becoming more evident that those on the left are about to engage in a multi course meal made up of, well… lots of glass. It appears that their crystal ball has shattered into a thousand pieces and that in no uncertain terms, they have misread the Americans they claim to represent and our desire for the future they have laid before us.

The real question is just how soundly their defeat will manifest across the American plain. I conclude, with increased spring in my step, that it shall be seismic in every regard and I for one could not be more pleased about it. For me it is the greatest form of validation of what brought me to America so any years ago. The common sense of the American people and their firm belief in not only their own exceptionalism but in the system of government that makes it possible. Many have tried to alter our perceptions in this regard but when push comes to shove the majority of Americans are unyielding. Obama and the progressive left he represents was given the chance to deliver on his words of “Hope and Change”. The American people now respond with “Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us!” There shall be no fooling us twice.

In an effort to bring some clarity to this in the form of a prescient representation, I present the American political landscape come November 2010. It should be noted that the blue designates not only the remaining centers of progressive liberal democrat thinking in America but also of their general state of mind. A word of caution however. Do not underestimate the depth of their despair at the rejection they have been shown nor how it will again manifest itself. That being that “as they see it” the American voter has shown his true ignorance, his incapacity to make good choices, and the need now more than ever for the progressive liberal democrat to act in our interest. Caution… it is a short step from the realm of the mentally insane to the criminally insane. They are not to be underestimated. Or not… you decide!
